This blog is dedicated to my dad, Mort, who died Thanksgiving eve, Nov 24, 2010. After cancer surgery in June, good news on Father's Day turned into an emergency trip down to see him over July 4th. Things were looking up again in Sept when I took El and the boys to visit. Before leaving, and not certain when I would see him again, I whispered "you can come back from this." With hopeful eyes he wrote on a piece of paper "all the way?” Fighting back tears I answered “YES DAD. ALL THE WAY BACK!"
